About AI Day

AI Day 2026 is the second annual event organized by the Department of Biomedical Informatics (DBMI) at China Medical University (CMU). It aims to inspire students to actively participate in basic and applied research in medical informatics, cultivate academic presentation skills, and advance scientific and technological innovation. Conducted primarily in English with faculty judges from medical informatics backgrounds, AI Day is the ideal stage to showcase your research and expand your academic network.

Competition Details

Theme

Covers all clinical and basic research related to medical informatics, including but not limited to AI medical image analysis, electronic health records, and intelligent diagnostic assistance systems.

Format

Conducted primarily in English. Participants post research posters in the exhibition area; CMU faculty with medical informatics backgrounds conduct oral Q&A scoring.

Evaluation Criteria

Scoring is based on content completeness, research innovation, depth of AI application, layout clarity, and Q&A performance.

Submission

Submission Guidelines

Please complete your submission by Friday, June 19; selection results will be announced on Friday, June 26.

Abstract Guidelines

  • Content primarily in English; must include title, authors and affiliations, abstract body, and keywords
  • Typed; 12pt font, 1.5 line spacing
  • English abstract: approximately 250 words
  • 3 to 5 custom keywords

Poster Guidelines

  • Dimensions: 84.1 cm (W) × 118.9 cm (H), A0 size; leave a 2 cm margin at top and bottom
  • Content primarily in English; must include title, authors and affiliations, background, research objectives, AI application, conclusions, and references
  • No limit on figures or tables; pay attention to layout, image clarity, and readability
  • Participants must print their own posters; please observe academic ethics and copyright regulations
  • Do not directly translate or plagiarize others' figures, papers, or works; if citing others' materials, clearly indicate the source

  • Other routes: Uniline Nos. 25, 77, 18; Taichung Bus Nos. 35, 131; Southeast Bus No. 67 — all stop at "China Medical University."

  • Freeway 1 Southbound: Exit Daya Interchange (174.2K) → Zhongqing Rd → Daya Rd → turn left on Yingcai Rd → intersection with Xueshi Rd.
  • Freeway 1 Northbound: Exit Taichung Interchange (178.6K) → Zhonggang Rd → turn left on Yingcai Rd → intersection with Xueshi Rd.
